Our church started a second ministry in addition to Bags of Love back in 2015. We call it Shepherd's Sack.

When a family loses their home, as from a fire or flood or financially hard times, Shepherd's Sack provides children with quilts, toys, personal care items, and spiritual material, such as a Christian coloring book.

We serve the Franklin and Grand Isle counties here in Vermont. The sacks consist of a pretty, handmade pillowcase stuffed with a handmade quilt as shown on the right.

To date, we have given out 179 sacks.
